The Finger Lakes Workforce Development Center is home to critical workforce training provides current and prospective workers with the in-demand skills needed to gain and maintain employment today, tomorrow, and 10 years from now.
- Training at the FWD Center is focused on all learners: credit and non-credit based programs, apprenticeships, and customized training to meet the needs of employers
- Implement curriculum that includes the in-demand skills required of the 21st century workforce
- Provide a resource for local employers to educate their existing workforce and generate interest with high school graduates
- Provide dual-enrollment opportunities to secondary education students in technical fields
